The Pismo Preserve conservation area and public trail system encompasses 880 acres of culturally sensitive land adjacent to Route 101 in Pismo Beach. The project includes improvements to the city’s Mattie Road and on-site construction of visitor center facilities, parking areas, restrooms, large retaining wall systems, site utilities, bridges, paved ADA trails and archaeological displays.
